Job summary

Harris Computer is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to create and execute test plans for new features, bug fixes, and integrations. You will document defects, collaborate with developers and product owners, and communicate release notes for customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience testing software applications, creating and executing test cases, validating expected results, and documenting defects with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including defect reports, release notes, and customer-facing documentation.
• Ability to work effectively with developers, support staff, product stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of PC and LAN environments, primarily Windows Server and Windows OS.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and data entry, analysis, documentation, presentations, and calculations.
• Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote team environment.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new features, bug fixes, and integrations.
• Document, investigate, reproduce, track, and validate defects and customer-reported issues with stakeholders.
• Communicate release changes through clear release notes and demonstrations of new features for customers and internal teams.
• Use approved AI-assisted tools to support test planning, defect analysis, documentation, and release note drafting.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, testing standards, documentation, and release readiness practices.
