Job summary

Atlas Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Python Developer to define, develop, and troubleshoot software and Linux-based hardware infrastructure for a Navy customer. This role emphasizes strong Linux development, container tech, and scripting, with a path to maintainable software and documentation.

A DoD clearance is required, and some telework is allowed. The candidate will work within a technical team to meet critical operational requirements, research bugs, and support DoD systems.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Level Security Clearance.
• BS degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Red Hat or similar Linux distributions and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers.
• Work with container technologies (Docker/Podman).
• Instantiate and administer Red Hat virtual machines (KVM).
• Develop applications using Python.
• Research and resolve software bugs.
• Maintain source code in Git repositories.
• Assist with software documentation and ECR requirements.
