Job summary

Outlier seeks a QA Coder to help train AI models by reviewing AI-generated code and rating model responses. You will also craft clear CS questions to challenge models, and contribute to a live production codebase with strong English communication.

The role is remote, freelance (1099), with pay up to $34/hr plus incentive offsets. Applicants from eligible regions in the Americas are welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a selective institution.
• Software engineering experience contributing to a live production codebase.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code: flag errors and quality issues using guidelines.
• Rate and rank model responses across accuracy, instruction following, and presentation.
• Write computer science prompts to challenge AI models and push coding boundaries.
