Job summary

Outlier is looking for a QA Coder to help train AI models by reviewing code produced by AI systems. You will flag issues, score responses, and create prompts to challenge models, with dedicated support and flexible freelance arrangements.

This 1099 contract role supports work from anywhere, requiring a CS degree, production code experience, and excellent English skills. Earn up to $34/hr with additional incentives based on project performance.

Qualifications

• Software engineering experience on a live production codebase.
• Ability to articulate complex ideas in written and spoken English.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to style guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code and flag errors, inconsistencies or quality issues.
• Rate and rank model responses across accuracy, instruction following and presentation.
• Write clear, well-structured prompts to challenge AI models.
