Job summary

JobCubby is hiring a Python Developer / Software Engineer for a fully remote, international role. The ideal candidate has strong Python development experience, can work independently, and enjoys building reliable software in a collaborative remote environment.

Responsibilities include designing, building, testing, and maintaining Python applications, backend services, APIs, and integrations, while collaborating with a distributed team and staying current with development tools and best practices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software development experience preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience developing backend applications, APIs, or web applications.
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Python software.
• Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues efficiently.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
