Sales Match is seeking a Purchasing Agent for a fully remote role based in Kentucky, United States. You will process routine purchases, verify details, and manage supplier communications using online systems.

The position requires a 40-hour weekly commitment with variable shifts and close collaboration with the purchasing team lead. No prior experience is required; training and onboarding will cover purchasing procedures and SAP Ariba usage, helping you grow in procurement responsibilities while

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No experience required; willingness to learn routine purchasing procedures.
• Ability to navigate a procurement system such as SAP Ariba.

Responsibilities

• Receive purchasing requests, identify requester, and verify items and timing.
• Verify descriptions, quantities, delivery destinations, budgets, and approvals.
• Review supplier lists and catalogs to identify options per guidelines.
• Request quotations, confirm pricing, availability, and delivery estimates.
• Compare quotations, summarize differences, and escalate if needed.
• Create purchase requisitions and orders in SAP Ariba following approval flow.
• Send approved orders to suppliers and record confirmations.
• Follow up on orders, communicate updates, and handle delays.
• Close requests and support quality checks with complete notes.
