Job summary

The Building People, LLC, is seeking a full-time Purchasing Agent to support government procurement from Atlanta, GA and other locations. The role focuses on placing orders, managing contracts, and ensuring compliance with FAR and agency policies.

You will work with BPAs, IDIQs, FSS schedules, and a range of tools to process pre-award and post-award actions, and to secure best value for customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• At least two years experience in contract purchasing or similar position.
• Requires 20 Hours of Professional Acquisition Related Training (Annually)

Responsibilities

• Place government orders under contracts (BPAs, IDIQs, FSS) to acquire supplies, services and construction.
• Perform pre-award and post-award contracting actions.
• Ensure procurement actions comply with FAR and agency policy and procedures.
• Use various purchasing procedures to acquire goods and services.
• Maintain regulatory compliance throughout the purchasing process.
