Shape Process Automation in Kentucky is seeking a Purchasing Agent to source project materials, office and plant supplies, and ensure on-time delivery at best price. You will process BOMs, convert requisitions to POs, confirm vendor quotes, expedite late items, and coordinate with internal teams.

Requires ability to read blueprints, proficient MS Office and ERP, and strong vendor management and communication skills.

• Ability to manage purchasing responsibilities, internal customers, and vendors concurrently.

Responsabilités

• Process Project BOMs as assigned.
• Convert requisitions into Purchase Orders.
• Process vendor confirmations for purchased items.
• Follow up on unconfirmed purchases and generate reports.
• Expedite late items and inform respective teams.
• Handle inventory and job transfers.
• Procure office supplies.
• Procure and manage safety items.
• Request vendor quotes and place orders.
• Arrange shipping and handle returns with vendors.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.
