Your Pool Pal LLC is seeking a motivated Purchasing Specialist to join our accounting team. This is a full-time and part-time remote role, offering an excellent entry-level opportunity to learn procurement, vendor relations, and purchasing operations within a growing company.

You will process purchase orders, maintain records, evaluate supplier performance, and support cost-saving initiatives while collaborating with internal teams in a fast-paced accounting environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.

Responsabilités

• Process and track purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes, confirm orders, and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain organized records of purchases, invoices, and supplier agreements.
• Assist in evaluating supplier performance, pricing, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with the Accounting department to ensure accurate expense documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and flag potential shortages or overstocking.
• Support the negotiation of pricing and terms with new and existing vendors.
• Reconcile purchase orders with received goods and invoices.
• Prepare reports on purchasing activity for management review.
• Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.
• Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities across procurement activities.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.
