Job summary

Zillow Group is seeking a purchase-focused Mortgage Loan Officer to originate home loans for customers within Zillow’s ecosystem. You will guide borrowers from initial contact to funding, working in either a high-volume, digital environment or a relationship-based model.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mortgage origination experience with purchase focus.
• Completion of the 20-hour CORE Pre‑Licensing Education and SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator Test – National Component.
• Physically located in and working remotely from Kentucky.
• Proven success originating purchase loans in high-volume phone-based or agent-centric models.
• Strong client service orientation with consultative sales skills and mortgage process understanding.

Responsibilities

• Originate and manage purchase mortgage loans from application through closing, ensuring compliance.
• Convert opportunities into funded loans through proactive follow-up and borrower consultation.
• Build relationships with customers and Zillow Preferred Agents and local partners.
• Manage an active pipeline meeting service levels, productivity metrics, and funding expectations.
• Leverage Zillow CRM, LOS, and data-driven tools to manage pipeline health and engagement.
• Partner with processing, underwriting, and closing teams to move loans efficiently.
• Deliver a high-quality customer experience via phone, email, and text.
• Stay current on market trends, lending programs, and regulations to provide tailored financing.
• Maintain active licensing and ongoing professional development.
