GLOBAL LANGUAGE STRATEGIES is seeking an experienced Punjabi-to-English or English-to-Punjabi translator and editor for remote, ongoing freelance work. Responsibilities include translating and editing official documents, with potential short turnaround timelines, and maintaining strict confidentiality as required by clients.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of translator/editor experience, strong language proficiency, and access to up-to-date Windows software.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in translation, linguistics, language studies or equivalent preferred.
• Two to five years of translator/editor experience.
• U.S. citizenship and willingness to undergo Tier 1 background investigation including fingerprinting.

Mansioni

• Translate Punjabi to English or English to Punjabi accurately.
• Edit and review translations for grammar, formatting and consistency.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow client instructions and formatting requirements.
• Meet deadlines, including rapid 1–2 day turnarounds when required.
