Job summary

PR by the Book is seeking a results-driven Sales - Marketing professional to find, manage, and close new leads, leveraging publishing industry knowledge to connect authors with opportunities. This is a fully remote position within the United States.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional sales experience in publishing or publicity.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented attitude.
• Existing relationships with publishing companies and author organizations is a plus.
• Experience in book industry, PR, and book marketing.

Responsibilities

• Translate PR by the Book passion for book promotion into client outreach.
• Develop ongoing publisher and author relationships, turning leads into clients.
• Speak at publishing conferences and trade shows to promote PR by the Book (within the U.S).
