Job summary

Corner Alliance is seeking a Publishing Automation & 508 Accessibility Specialist to support a federal client. The role delivers accessible documents, automates publishing workflows, and ensures Section 508 compliance across Word, PDF, and InDesign environments.

You will develop VBA macros, remediate complex PDFs, and help move publishing toward cloud-based, automated solutions while collaborating with government stakeholders and a fast-moving team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 5+ years' experience in document accessibility/publishing.
• US citizenship or green card and ability to pass clearance.

Responsibilities

• Create Section 508‑compliant PDFs from Word and remediate PDFs/forms using Acrobat Pro and CommonLook.
• Use InDesign to format reports for print production and perform Preflight checks.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Microsoft Word VBA macros and macro‑enabled templates.
• Resolve ServiceNow incidents and requests within SLA, troubleshooting Office, Acrobat, templates, accessibility and publishing workflows.
• Identify recurring issues and automate workflows toward cloud‑based publishing.
• Follow SOPs, templates, and publishing workflows; propose process improvements.
• Represent Corner Alliance professionally in client interactions with timely updates on progress, risks, and blockers.
• Own workload end to end and keep leads informed of priorities and risks.
• Collaborate with government clients and prime contractor staff, sharing knowledge across the team.
