Qualifications

• Public sector experience understanding government operations, missions, procurement, and budgeting realities.
• Strong cybersecurity fundamentals and hands-on exposure (Vulnerability/Exposure/Attack Surface Management, CMDB, EDR, IDAM).
• Clear communicator who translates technical findings into business risk for diverse audiences.
• Ability to tell compelling stories that resonate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated customer empathy and credibility through thorough preparation and accountability.
• Willingness to learn quickly and accept coaching while taking initiative.
• Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset to support colleagues and shared success.
• Familiarity with public sector compliance standards (CIS, NIST, GovRAMP, FedRAMP).

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical demonstrations of Tenable's platform tailored to public sector needs.
• Assist with enterprise software trials and Proof of Value evaluations.
• Translate complex findings into risk-based business outcomes for technical and executive audiences.
• Address government agency challenges with consultative security insights.
• Answer technical questions and support local events and community engagements.
• Support sales with partners and RFI/RFP responses.
• Build and maintain trust with customers, partners, and internal teams.
