Job summary

AlphaGov is seeking an HRIS and Payroll Systems Consultant for remote, project-based work with public agencies. You will review agency HR, time, payroll, and position-control processes, plan configuration, data conversion, and go-live readiness, and contribute to proposals when authorized.

Qualifications

• Hands-on HRIS or payroll-system implementation for an employer with complex pay rules as a functional lead or senior consultant.
• Experience with employee data conversion, parallel payroll testing, and cutover.
• Familiarity with position control, time entry, and earnings and deduction setup.
• Able to name the HRIS or payroll product you delivered.
• Comfortable as a 1099 project-based collaborator with occasional client travel.

Responsibilities

• Support HRIS and payroll-system pursuits and, when awarded, related implementation or assessment work.
• Review agency HR, time, payroll, and position-control processes against the system being proposed.
• Plan configuration, parallel payroll testing, and data conversion.
• Identify integrations with finance, timekeeping, and benefits vendors.
• Contribute system qualifications and past-performance narrative to proposals when authorized.
• Support payroll parallel runs and go-live readiness.
• Distinguish implemented work from advisory input.
