Job summary

Ladders seeks a Public Safety Solutions Engineer to drive scalable, reliable technology for government and public safety customers. Remote (US-based) role focusing on translating complex requirements into practical solutions, collaborating with sales, product, and operations to win strategic deals and shape product direction.

Travel up to 50% within North America is expected. Salary $100k-$120k with visa sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in CS or related field.
• 4+ years of sales/sales engineering in Government or Public Safety sectors.
• Experience with government purchasing processes and RFP/Bid responses.
• Consultative selling experience including presentations and demos.
• Exceptional work ethic and strong technical knowledge.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Creative problem-solving abilities.
• Proven desire to win and close business.
• Ability to influence high-level decision-makers.
• Willingness to travel ~50% within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Support sales opportunities as a product expert demonstrating solution capabilities.
• Understand Criminal Justice Process workflow for digital evidence.
• Engage user work groups within Public Safety agencies to gather insights.
• Conduct needs assessment in collaboration with Account Executive.
• Gather feedback on solution requirements for Product Management.
• Assist in preparing technical responses for RFPs and presentations.
• Create Scope of Work documents for project clarity.
