Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a leader in Information Technology. The role focuses on scalable systems, platform reliability, and impactful business transformation. You will collaborate with engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions.

Location: Remote — US-based candidates only. Compensation: $157,248 – $215,300 annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of programming experience in Golang, Python, Java, C#, or C/C++.
• 3+ years of experience with microservices architecture and API concepts.
• 2+ years with container technologies, virtualization, or distributed systems.
• 1+ year of experience in database design and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Write code to add new software features using Golang or other languages.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of databases, creating efficient queries.
• Participate in Agile software development and related ceremonies.
• Engage in code reviews to maintain high code quality.
• Refactor application code for improved stability and performance.
• Coordinate with team leads and engineers on product design.
• Write and maintain various types of tests including unit and integration tests.
