Crisis24 Group is seeking a Public Safety Liaison in a remote role with on-call responsibilities and travel under 20%. You will bridge AV operations with municipal emergency management, building trusted partnerships and coordinating preparedness across agencies.

The role emphasizes training, drills, and incident response support to enhance public safety during emergencies and large events. Strong networks in public safety and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in emergency management, public safety, or disaster response.
• Ability to define, build and maintain a broad network of working relationships.
• Existing networks and contacts in public safety agencies beyond Law Enforcement and Fire/EMS, community facing organizations, and state and local government agencies.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
• Familiarity with risk assessment, hazard mitigation planning, and continuity of operations (COOP)

Responsibilities

• Participate in classroom, field-based, and virtual training sessions on emergency preparedness, incident response, crisis management, and recovery operations as it relates to autonomously driven vehicles.
• Conduct drills, tabletop exercises, and full-scale simulations to assess readiness and identify improvement areas.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in emergency management practices, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate emergency preparedness into organizational operations
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal emergency management regulations and standards.
• Support real-world incident response when required, providing guidance and coordination as needed.
• Educate public safety agencies on how emerging transportation technologies operate, how they respond during emergency situations, and the best practices for safe and effective interaction.
• Work closely with municipal public safety officials to ensure the safe introduction of emerging transportation technology.
• Build trust, enhance safety and foster collaboration.
• Apply a technical understanding of new transportation technologies to support incident response and provide clear, concise information to emergency management personnel.
