Crisis24 is seeking a Public Safety Liaison in Austin, TX. This remote role with on-call duties and <20% travel will bridge AV operations and municipal emergency management, strengthening partnerships and public safety outcomes.

You will build trust among local agencies, industry partners, and airports, coordinating training and incident response during disasters or major events to ensure effective information exchange and public messaging.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in emergency management, public safety, or disaster response.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
• Familiarity with risk assessment, hazard mitigation planning, and continuity of operations (COOP).
• Experience with EOC exercises (tabletop, functional, full-scale).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Participate in classroom, field-based, and virtual training sessions on emergency preparedness and crisis management.
• Conduct drills, tabletop exercises, and full-scale simulations to assess readiness and identify improvement areas.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in emergency management practices, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate emergency preparedness into organizational operations.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal emergency management regulations and standards.
• Support real-world incident response when required, providing guidance and coordination as needed.
