Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book, retain clients, and support new business while coordinating day-to-day administrative and customer service activities. The role emphasizes policy administration, renewals, billing, claims handling, and thorough coverage analysis.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in account management (or 5+ years in insurance), an active P&C license, and a CIC or equivalent designation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active P&C license required.
• CIC designation or equivalent preferred.
• 3+ years account management or 5+ years in insurance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Communicate workload status with the account team.
• Deliver excellent service and proactively anticipate needs.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Seek and adopt best practices to improve performance.
• Demonstrate integrity and leadership.
