Job summary

Mindful Care in Hauppauge, NY is hiring a New York State Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to provide remote psychotherapy in a structured clinical environment.

You will benefit from built-in supervision, scheduling, and billing services, enabling you to focus on patient care while maintaining a consistent 4-day workweek and a manageable 9:00 AM–7:00 PM or 10:00 AM–8:00 PM schedule.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work and active LMSW license in New York.
• At least 2 years or 1000 hours of supervised clinical experience toward LCSW or equivalent.
• Experience providing therapy to adults 18 and older outside of internships.
• Experience with both individual and group therapy.
• Experience with concurrent documentation.
• Familiarity with assessments such as GAD-7 and PHQ-9.
• Strong organizational skills and comfort managing a structured schedule.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to working with diverse populations and providing inclusive care.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual psychotherapy sessions via telehealth.
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and intakes as needed.
• Deliver both long-term therapy and MicroTherapy sessions.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation in the EHR.
• Collaborate with psychiatric providers and clinical team members.
• Participate in weekly supervision and team collaboration.
• Support group therapy, intake, or MicroTherapy coverage as needed.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all state and federal regulations.
• Practice a person-centered and ethical approach to care.
