Job summary

BetterHelp is seeking licensed psychiatrists to deliver high-quality virtual care on a flexible, part-time basis through our telemedicine platform. This 1099 contract role is remote and allows you to build your own schedule while supporting insured patients across the United States.

You’ll conduct video consultations, assess and treat patients, prescribe medications when appropriate, and collaborate with a network of therapists and platforms to optimize care delivery.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as a licensed Psychiatrist.
• Active medical license (MD/DO) in good standing.
• Experience prescribing medication when clinically appropriate and permitted by state law.
• Confidence using technology and online tools to deliver virtual care.
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care in a virtual setting.
• Conduct video consultations and communicate with patients through telemedicine.
• Assess, screen, diagnose, and prescribe medications when appropriate.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Coordinate care with BetterHelp's network of licensed therapists.
• Deliver high-quality care while upholding clinical standards and sharing feedback for improvement.
