Job summary

Thriveworks is seeking a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Orlando, FL to provide both in-person and telemedicine care for adolescents and adults with mental health conditions.

The role involves assessments, care planning, and prescribing medications within Thriveworks' guidelines. Requires Florida PMHNP license and board certification, with 1 year psychiatry practice required and 3 years preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Florida.
• Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state.
• Board Certification in PMHNP is required.
• At least 1 year of psychiatry practice; 3 years overall preferred.
• Understanding of AMD EMR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations for clients in in-person and telemedicine settings.
• Prescribe medications as clinically needed to reduce symptoms.
• Create and update care plans in collaboration with clients.
• Complete paperwork and assessment tools per guidelines.
