Job summary
Thriveworks is seeking a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Grand Rapids, MI for telemedicine-based care. The clinician will assess and treat clients aged 14+, prescribe medications as needed, and collaborate on care plans while following Thriveworks Clinical Practice Guidelines.
Applicants must hold board certification, possess active prescriptive authority, and have 1 year of psychiatry experience.
Qualifications
- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification.
- Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state of practice.
- Understanding of AdvancedMD EMR is a plus.
- Three years of experience is a plus; 1 year of psychiatry practice is required.
- Must be licensed and live in the practicing state.
- Part-time requires 15–20 hours per week.
- Attend in-house ADHD treatment standards training and pass a brief exam.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric assessments via telemedicine with ongoing patient care.
- Treat patients aged 14 and up as needed.
- Prescribe medications to reduce mental health symptoms as appropriate.
- Develop and update individual care plans with clients.
- Complete necessary paperwork and assessment tools.
- Adhere to Thriveworks Clinical Practice Guidelines.
- Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients and services.
