Job summary

Thriveworks seeks a Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Grand Rapids, MI, to provide telemedicine care for adolescents and adults. The role emphasizes diagnosing, treating, and coordinating care under Thriveworks guidelines.

Requires PMHNP board certification and a Master’s in Nursing with prescriptive authority. 1 year psychiatry practice is required; 15–20 hours weekly for part-time engagement with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification.
• Master’s in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state of practice.
• Understanding of AdvancedMD EMR is a plus.
• At least 1 year of psychiatry practice; 3 years of experience is a plus.
• Must be licensed as PMHNP in the practicing state.

Responsibilities

• Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations via telemedicine.
• Willingness to treat clients aged 14 and up.
• Prescribe medications to reduce mental health symptoms as needed.
• Create and collaborate on comprehensive care plans with clients.
• Complete and administer required paperwork and assessment tools.
• Adhere to Thriveworks Clinical Practice Guidelines.
• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients and services.
