Job summary

Thriveworks is currently seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners in Toms River, New Jersey. This is a fee-for-service W2 position with compensation ranging from $71,000 to $102,000 per year based on 15-20 clinical hours per week.

Clinicians must be licensed in the practicing state, hold a Master's in Nursing with prescriptive authority, and PMHNP board certification. The role includes in-person intakes and 90-day follow-ups, plus in-person and telemedicine assessments for adults

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner; Board Certification required.
• Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority required in the state.
• Understanding of AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is a plus.
• Three years of experience is a plus; 1 year of psychiatry practice is required.
• Licensed PMHNPs must be licensed and live in the practicing state.
• Part-time requires 15-20 hours per week.
• In-house ADHD treatment standards training with exam; ADHD clinic participation; no quotas.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychiatric assessments and evaluations in in-person and telemedicine settings.
• Prescribe medications to reduce mental health symptoms as needed.
• Create and collaborate with clients on comprehensive care plans.
• Complete and administer relevant paperwork and assessment tools.
• Adhere to Thriveworks Clinical Practice Guidelines.
• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors on clients, programs and services at sites.
