Job summary

Thriveworks seeks a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Edison, New Jersey to provide comprehensive psychiatric care. The clinician will see adults and adolescents, with a focus on telemedicine and in-person follow-ups when needed.

Compensation is fee-for-service, ranging from $141,000 to $203,000 annually based on 25–35 clinical hours per week; a ramp stipend is available for 30+ hours per week. Thriveworks emphasizes safety, guidelines, and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification.
• Master's degree in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in NJ.
• Experience in psychiatry; ADHD treatment training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• See intakes in person and follow up every 90 days.
• Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations in-person and via telemedicine.
• Willingness to treat patients aged 14 and up.
• Prescribe medications as clinically appropriate.
• Create and implement individualized care plans with clients.
• Complete paperwork and administer assessment tools per guidelines.
• Adhere to Thriveworks clinical practice guidelines and collaborate with leadership.
