Job summary

Legion Health is seeking a Medical Virtual Assistant to manage and optimize provider operations, onboarding, recruiting coordination, and payroll support. You will maintain detailed records, coordinate cross-team handoffs, and ensure timely provider readiness.

The role is fully remote with a 9:00 AM-6:00 PM US Central Time schedule. You will partner with clinicians, HR, and finance to keep workflows accurate and compliant, improving efficiency and provider satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in healthcare operations or related fields.
• Experience supporting clinicians or healthcare professionals preferred.
• Familiarity with payroll, onboarding, and credentialing processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate provider recruiting operations and maintain candidate records and statuses.
• Support onboarding from offer to start readiness with compliant documentation.
• Maintain provider-operation records including rosters and status trackers.
• Communicate clearly with providers via Slack and email.
• Assist weekly payroll preparation and reconcile discrepancies.
• Document recurring workflows and update SOPs and templates.
