Job summary

UnitedHealth Group through OptumRx is seeking a licensed pharmacist for the Tennessee TennCare program, based around Knoxville with remote work flexibility. The role entails education, audit follow-up, and provider engagement in TennCare utilization management.

Requirements include a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, Tennessee license, and 3+ years of licensed experience in outpatient/retail settings. Travel up to 75% is expected in the Knoxville area.

Qualifications

Pharmacist license in Tennessee in good standing.
Doctor of Pharmacy or BS in Pharmacy (PharmD preferred).
3+ years licensed pharmacist experience, outpatient/retail preferred.
Experience delivering formal presentations.
Able to travel up to 75% in Knoxville area.

Responsibilities

Provider education programs, training, relations and service.
Follow-up after pharmacy audits.
Academic detailing of prescribers and pharmacy providers.
TennCare PDL compliance initiatives.
DUR and Provider Practice Activity follow up.
Education and assistance for Providers in TennCare utilization management.
Collaborate with client and OptumRx Account Director and Clinical team.
