Job summary

OptumRx in Tennessee is seeking a Pharmacist for provider education programs, audits, and TennCare initiatives in the Knoxville area. This role combines clinical practice with training delivery, with up to 75% local travel and remote flexibility.

Candidates should hold a PharmD or B.S. in Pharmacy, TN license, 3+ years of outpatient/retail experience, and proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook. Benefits and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• BS or PharmD and TN Pharmacist license.
• 3+ years as a licensed Pharmacist with outpatient/retail exposure.
• Experience delivering formal presentations and trainings.

Responsibilities

• Provider education programs, training, relations and service.
• Follow-up after pharmacy audits and audit assistance.
• Academic detailing of prescribers and TennCare providers.
• TennCare PDL compliance initiatives.
• DU R and provider activity follow-up.
• Education and assistance for providers in using TennCare programs.
• Collaborate with client, OptumRx Account Director and Clinical team.
