Job summary

UnitedHealth Group's OptumRx division seeks an experienced Pharmacist to support TennCare initiatives in Tennessee. You will educate providers, assist with audits, and manage TennCare programs with travel up to 75% in the Knoxville area.

Requirements include a BS/PharmD and TN license, 3+ years of pharmacy experience, and proficiency with MS Word/Excel/Outlook. Remote work flexibility is available and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required.
• Current and unrestricted Pharmacist license in Tennessee.
• 3+ years licensed pharmacist experience, outpatient/retail preferred.
• Experience delivering formal presentations and using MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provider education programs, training, relations and service.
• Follow-up after pharmacy audit and audit assistance.
• Academic detailing of prescribers and TennCare providers.
• TennCare PDL compliance initiatives and DUR follow up.
• Educate Providers on utilization management programs and PA requests.
• Collaborate with client, Account Director and Clinical team.
