Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) is seeking an experienced contracts and networks professional to lead contracting strategies for commercial and government networks. You will draft and negotiate reimbursement contracts, ensure network adequacy, and manage a team responsible for contracting operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in hospital/health care contracting.
• 5 years of management experience.
• Experience with large integrated health care delivery systems.
• Strong relationships with health care provider leadership teams.
• Knowledge of outpatient and provider reimbursement strategies.
• Experience with contract performance and ROI.
• Negotiation and leadership skills.
• Ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage contracting strategies for operations relative to commercial and government networks.
• Accountable for development, negotiation, and completion of reimbursement contracts.
• Ensure network adequacy for commercial and government networks.
• Develop network, draft reimbursement agreements, and negotiate contracts for hospitals and large groups.
• Achieve competitive discounts and access through negotiations and relationship management.
• Oversee analysis and reporting to develop reimbursement strategies.
• Accountable for resolution of issues and contractual disputes.
• Ensure staff meets goals, stays trained, and resources are allocated.
• Accountable for budget and financial reporting.
