Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation seeks a senior contracting leader to develop and manage network strategies for commercial and government networks. You will oversee contracting operations and a team responsible for provider reimbursement agreements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree +5 years in hospital/health care contracting or hospital/physician relations
• 5 years management experience
• Experience with large integrated health care delivery systems and complex reimbursement strategies

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage contracting strategies for commercial and government networks.
• Accountable for development, negotiation, and completion of reimbursement contracts; ensure network adequacy.
• Draft reimbursement agreements and negotiate contracts for hospitals and large professional groups.
• Achieve competitive discounts and access through contract negotiations and relationships.
• Oversee analysis and reporting to develop reimbursement strategies and take corrective action.
• Ensure staff meets goals, communicates changes, and stays within budget.
