AECOM's Grid Modernization team is recruiting a Protection and Controls Engineer to support our Energy Business Line. The role focuses on electrical design, protection settings, and relay configurations within HV/power systems, substations, and renewables.

Travel to client sites is expected. The successful candidate will have a BE in Electrical Engineering with substantial protection experience and prefer PE licensure, with a track record in leading design efforts and coordinating with project

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• 6 years of relevant protection and controls experience.
• Professional Engineering licensure preferred.
• 10+ years with minimum 2 years as project lead.
• Knowledge of FERC and NERC requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Responsible for the electrical engineering design work on assigned projects.
• Provide mentorship for other electrical engineers in the High Voltage/Power team.
• Develop design schedules and budgets for electrical engineering work activities.
• Perform power system studies and protection settings coordination.
• Generate basis of design documentation for protection settings and relay configurations.
• Support projects during construction, start-up and commissioning.
• Review engineering work performed by peers.
• Attend client meetings.
• Occasional travel to client/sites and data gathering.
