Qualifications
10 years of experience in electric utility industry.
PE (Protection Engineering) is required.
Experience with protective relay settings from 12kV to 765kV.
Experience in performing symmetrical component analysis and fault calculations.
Responsibilities
Support capital program projects as needed.
Gather and evaluate line data for various systems.
Support Test Technicians during relay settings in-service.
Provide QA support in reviewing protection deliverables.
Design protective relaying systems to ensure safety and reliability.
Skills
Experience with protection engineering
Leadership in relay settings development
Knowledge of NERC PRC Compliances
Ability to interpret electrical diagrams
