Job summary

Hanger Clinic is seeking a Prosthetist and/or Orthotist Clinician (CPO/CO) to join our Florida team. You will collaborate with physicians, evaluate patient needs, design and fit prosthetic and orthotic devices, and provide comprehensive patient care across our nationwide network.

Eligible candidates are board-certified or board-eligible in prosthetics/orthotics, hold a relevant degree, and possess a valid driver's license. Competitive benefits and relocation assistance are included.

Qualifications

• Current board certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics from the ABC or the BOC.
• Bachelor degree in prosthetics and/or orthotics or foreign equivalent, and ABC Board-Eligibility.
• Valid driver's license and driving record as per policy.
• Ability to obtain and maintain state licensure where required.
• Candidates not certified or board-eligible but with at least 5 years of demonstrated past experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate patient prosthetic/orthotic needs.
• Design, fabricate, and fit prosthetic and/or orthotic devices.
• Take casts, measurements, and perform static/dynamic alignments.
• Provide patient instructions and follow-up care; document plans and notes.
• Mentor residents or newly certified clinicians and assist other staff.
