Job summary

Parexel, a leading global clinical development partner, seeks a Contract Manager to work remotely in the US. You will drive RFP processes, manage proposals and budgets, and lead contract development and negotiations across cross-functional teams to meet client needs and regulatory standards.

The role requires 4–6 years in CRO environments, strong communication and analytical skills, and the ability to work from home with extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Business, Languages or equivalent.
• 4–6 years of experience in project support, finance, contracting, or proposals in a CRO or similar environment.
• Knowledge of clinical trial processes, contract management, and pricing structures.
• Cash flow and revenue recognition knowledge.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work from home and odd/extended hours to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete RFP process from receipt to delivery.
• Develop and prepare strategic proposals and budgets for RFPs.
• Lead contract development and negotiation across internal teams.
• Establish account-specific contract standards and negotiate terms.
• Identify RFP and contract barriers and implement mitigation strategies.
• Handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines with high-quality deliverables.
• Lead client meetings to negotiate costs, terms, and details.
• Maintain documentation and data in appropriate systems for KPI tracking.
