Job summary

GovCIO is hiring an entry-level Proposal Analyst/Technical Writer to turn complex solicitation requirements into clear, compliant proposal content and to produce the technical documentation—user guides, SOPs, knowledge base articles, training materials—that our programs rely on.

You will interview subject matter experts, translate dense technical material into plain language, and work with seasoned capture, proposal, and delivery professionals who will coach you as you grow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 1–3 years of relevant experience or commensurate experience.
• Experience responding to government solicitations (RFPs/RFQs/RFIs).
• Ability to write compliant and compelling proposal sections for government solicitations.
• Experience writing both non-technical and technical content for IT solutions.
• Ability to interview SMEs and translate technical concepts into clear content.

Responsibilities

• Create compliant and compelling proposal content responding to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs.
• Draft, edit, format, and proofread proposal content to meet government standards.
• Develop past performance and resume content with coaching guidance.
• Produce technical documentation including user guides and SOPs.
• Collaborate with SMEs and proposal teams to integrate win themes.
