Qualifications

• Two years of technical writing experience within a proposal, marketing, technical team, or other professional writing roles.
• Exceptional writing, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to convert business issues into viable, scalable technical solutions, presented narratively or graphically.
• Strong curiosity and ability to rapidly understand diverse subjects.
• Meticulous attention to detail with strict adherence to schedules and deadlines.
• Self-driven, proactive, and dynamic approach.
• Flexible to work evenings and weekends to meet deadlines.
• Capable of multitasking and prioritizing in a dynamic environment.
• Proficient with MS Office suite and Adobe PDF.
• Knowledge of Shipley methodologies (desired).
• Familiarity with the federal government sector and proposal processes.

Responsibilities

• Craft and enhance a compliant, engaging technical proposal narrative for federal opportunities.
• Create detailed proposal content by interviewing technical, program, and management personnel.
• Adhere to timelines set by the proposal manager and manage time proactively.
• Generate RFIs, promotional materials, and client presentations.
• Collaborate with team members to present information about contracts and projects.
• Participate in quality, compliance, and completeness reviews including color reviews.
• Support capture management research as instructed by the capture manager.
• Develop a strategy for ongoing collection of technical data.
