Job summary

CohnReznick is seeking a Proposal Specialist to lead the preparation and submission of Government and Public Sector proposals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to respond to RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and SSNs, managing the entire proposal development process to deliver on-time, compelling, compliant bids.

The role requires strong writing, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and with teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in journalism, communications, marketing, political science, creative writing or related field.
APMP certification or experience preferred.
1–3+ years of experience writing Government and Public Sector proposals; Shipley process highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Act as the central point of contact on assigned proposals and lead the Bids and Proposals team.
Analyze RFQs/RFPs/RFIs/SSNs and create compliance matrices, outlines and development plans.
Plan winning themes, value propositions, and differentiated solutions for proposals.
Lead proposal kickoff, status meetings, data calls, and schedules across all phases of the process.
Work with leadership and subject matter experts to craft win strategies and ensure messaging is consistent.
Provide writing guidance to authors and ensure proposals are clear and concise.
Monitor content for RFP compliance and manage content library for future bids.
