Job summary

CohnReznick is seeking a Proposal Specialist to lead the preparation and submission of Government and Public Sector proposals. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to respond to RFIs/RFPs, and manage the end-to-end proposal development process to deliver compliant, high-quality bids.

The role requires strong writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and with teams under deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• APMP certification or experience preferred.
• 1-3+ years experience writing Government and Public Sector proposals; Shipley experience preferred.
• Ability to work across organizations with effective communication, leadership, and project management skills.
• Excellent writing, grammar, and spelling ability.
• Deadline-driven, detail-oriented, able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Act as the central point of contact on assigned proposals and lead the Bids and Proposals team.
• Analyze RFQs, RFPs, RFIs, and SSNs to burst the solicitation and create compliance matrices and outlines.
• Lead proposal kickoff, status and debrief meetings, and plan detailed agendas and schedules.
• Plan winning themes, value propositions, and differentiated solutions for proposals.
• Collaborate with practice leadership to finalize win strategies and ensure messaging consistency.
• Monitor content to ensure RFP compliance and evaluation criteria.
• Lead or support development and submission of winning bid responses with client service teams.
• Work with Content Management Specialist to improve reusable graphics and templates.
