Job summary

SES Space & Defense is seeking a detail-oriented Proposal Manager to lead development of compliant, high-quality proposals for U.S. Government and other customers.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage schedules, and ensure alignment with capture strategies and customer requirements throughout the proposal lifecycle. You will collaborate with Business Development, Capture, and Program Management, leveraging strong writing and project-management skills to produce compelling,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in a related field.
• Experience managing government/proposal development lifecycle.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with SharePoint, Salesforce, or similar collaboration platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate development of compliant, high-quality proposals for U.S. Government and other customers.
• Manage the proposal lifecycle from RFP review to final submission and post-submission activities.
• Organize contributors, manage schedules, and translate capture strategies into proposal content.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, RFP instructions, and internal standards.
• Lead RFP reviews, develop outlines/content structures, and conduct kickoff meetings.
• Coordinate with Business Development, Capture, and Program Management to transition insights into proposals.
