Job summary

Cayuse Holdings is seeking a Proposal Coordinator to develop timely, high-quality proposals for government opportunities. You will work with Managers and Business Development to identify prospects, draft components, and manage the full proposal process from capture to production, ensuring alignment with Cayuse standards.

The role requires 4-year degree with 3 years in technical/proposal writing, federal proposal experience, Shipley proficiency, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• A four-year degree with 3 years of experience in technical writing or proposal writing.
• Two-year associate degree or seven+ years in business/government environments.
• Experience with Federal Government proposals is required.
• Proficiency in Shipley or equivalent proposal methodologies and compliance.
• Experience reading RFPs, RFQs, Sources Sought, and RFIs.
• Ability to pass background checks as required.

Responsibilities

• Create layout, formatting, and design of government-compliant proposals.
• Draft sections such as introduction, overview, project approach, and cover letter.
• Manage the full proposal process from capture to final production.
• Synthesize materials into client-ready packages.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and prime contractors to gather data.
• Communicate progress to executive management.
• Navigate procurement websites to identify opportunities.
• Maintain proposal libraries and past-performance materials.
