Job summary

Fives Intralogistics Corp. is seeking a Manager of Proposal Development to own the capacity and budget of the proposals function, including staffing and process standards. This role drives hiring and promotion decisions within the function and oversees the templates, grids, and stage gates that govern proposals.

The position requires coordinating with senior management and owning the end-to-end proposal process to ensure pipeline viability and successful bids across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–2+ years in proposal, bid or capital-project organisations, including budget and headcount ownership.
• Experience building a hiring plan against a pipeline.
• Experience owning a proposal process or standard.
• Preferred: material handling, capital equipment or systems integration.
• PMP or equivalent is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Own the capacity plan for the function and pipeline staffing.
• Own the function budget and its share of pursuit costs.
• Own hiring for the function: open the reqs, set the bands, and make the selection.
• Make the promotion decision at the level gate.
• Own the proposal process and its standards: templates, spec-compliance grids, stage gates and the effort-hour standard behind them.
