Job summary

National General is seeking a Field Property Adjuster to investigate and settle complex homeowners claims, including farm and ranch losses, with on-site and virtual handling. The role emphasizes accurate damages estimates, licensing, and mentoring junior staff while navigating regulatory guidelines and customer-focused service.

The ideal candidate will reside in Wyoming, preferably near Laramie, Platte, Fremont, or Campbell counties, and possess strong Xactimate skills and experience handling

Qualifications

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving for complex homeowner claims
• Experience with estimating complex damages in residential properties
• Experience handling farm, ranch, and agricultural claims preferred
• Strong familiarity with Xactimate and claims processes
• Ability to mentor peers and work independently in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Exhibits mastery estimating fundamentals to create estimates for complex first party homeowner losses
• Builds mastered relationships with internal and external customers
• Interprets regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
• Negotiates settlements and documents all activities in complex files
• Applies policy interpretations and assists leadership with training
• Recommends process improvements
