Advice Personnel seeks a Property Controller to oversee a portfolio of commercial assets in a REMOTE capacity. You will manage property-level accounting, financial reporting, and monthly close, interfacing with management, operations, and audits.

The role requires 6+ years in property accounting, BA in Accounting/Finance, and proficiency with Yardi or similar software. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BA in Accounting / Finance or relevant discipline.
• 6+ years of experience with property accounting.
• Proficiency with Yardi or similar real estate accounting software.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review property-level financial statements for a commercial real estate portfolio.
• Perform month-end close procedures and review monthly reporting package.
• Prepare CAM and tax reconciliations.
• Prepare, review and analyze property level annual budgets.
• Prepare workpapers and participate in annual audits.
• Supervise day-to-day accounting and financial reporting for a commercial real estate portfolio.
• Analyze mortgage, partnership, and cash management agreements and leases for proper accounting.
• Assist with special projects as needed.
