Job summary

State Farm is seeking a Property Field Inspection Claim Specialist to conduct on-site inspections for residential and commercial property claims, assess damages, and guide policyholders through the claims process with exceptional service.

You will be the primary contact, meeting insureds, explaining coverage, and compiling evidence while coordinating with agents and other parties. This role emphasizes safe field work, mobility, and adherence to policy terms.

• Proficient with mobile/desktop tools to document and support claims.
• Physical agility for field inspections and safety training requirements.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections and assessments of property damages for residential and commercial claims.
• Collaborate with policyholders, agents, and other parties to gather information and resolve claims.
• Interact with emotionally charged stakeholders professionally.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the claims process.
• Gather evidence, document findings, and prepare detailed reports.
• Investigate and adjust personal and commercial property claims up to $500,000.
• Evaluate coverage and terms to determine claim validity and compliance.
• Negotiate and settle claims within authorized limits.
