Job summary

State Farm is hiring a Property Field Inspection Claim Specialist to handle on-site inspections for residential and commercial claims, explain coverage, estimate damages, and guide insureds through the claims process with remarkable service.

You will collaborate with policyholders and agents, gather evidence, prepare reports, and adjust claims up to $500,000 while ensuring policy terms are applied correctly and legally compliant. Remote-field work from home is supported.

Responsibilities

• May interact with parties who express emotions or concerns about inspections or claim resolutions.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the claims process.
• Gather evidence, document findings, and prepare detailed reports to support claims handling.
• Investigate and adjust personal and commercial property claims with exposures up to $500,000.
• Evaluate coverage and policy terms to determine claim validity and regulatory compliance.
• Negotiate and settle claims within authorized limits, considering policy provisions and standards.
