Job summary
Coterie is seeking a Property Claims Manager to lead first-party property claims handling. This senior role oversees internal and external vendors, guides complex losses, and drives strategic improvements across the portfolio. You’ll collaborate with legal, underwriting, and product teams to ensure compliant, efficient resolution strategies.
The role is fully remote in the United States. You will mentor adjusters and vendors, monitor KPIs, and support senior leadership with insights for risk
Qualifications
- 7+ years in subject matter specific claims in a desk adjusting environment.
- Experience managing desk adjusting and property claims teams.
- Experience managing TPAs, counsel, and claims vendors.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills; remote-ready.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic oversight for first-party property claims, including large-exposure losses.
- Monitor TPA performance and conduct audits, scorecards, and escalations.
- Support coverage analysis, subrogation, and resolution strategy.
- Refine reserve practices and authority levels for the portfolio.
- Lead initiatives to improve workflows, QA, and analytics.
