Job summary

State Farm is seeking a Property Field Inspection Claim Specialist to handle accident and weather-related property claims for residential and commercial properties. You will meet insureds in the field, explain coverage, estimate damages, and guide them through the claims process with remarkable service.

You will use technology to support claims employees and act as the first point of contact for policyholders, traveling within designated Colorado territories and working remotely from a mobile

Qualifications

• Ability to investigate problems, evaluate information, and make well-supported decisions.
• Ability to interpret detailed policies, guidelines, or technical information and apply them.
• Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar concepts, processes, and terminology.
• Ability to interact with policyholders, agents, and other stakeholders to move claims forward.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for difficult conversations.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with Xactimate/XactContents is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections and assessments of property damages for residential and commercial claims.
• Collaborate with policyholders, agents, and other parties to gather information and resolve claims.
• Interact with concerned parties during inspections or claim resolutions.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the claims process.
• Gather evidence, document findings, and prepare detailed reports.
• Investigate and adjust property claims with exposures up to $500,000.
• Evaluate coverage and terms to determine claim validity and ensure regulatory compliance.
